{Sooty albatross} (Zo["o]l.), an albatross ({Ph[oe]betria
   fuliginosa}) found chiefly in the Pacific Ocean; -- called
   also {nellie}.

{Sooty tern} (Zo["o]l.), a tern ({Sterna fuliginosa}) found
   chiefly in tropical seas.
